Dragonfly Catwalk and Clothing Show raises over £1200

Our popular Clothing Show was a sell out this year with 100 people attending the event at the Holiday Inn. Guests and volunteers enjoyed modelling a range of clothing from high street stores and had great encouragement from all there. People were then given the opportunity to try and buy the clothes on the night at massive discounts. Thanks to everyone who took part and supported the event. We made a profit of over £1200.

Treats Day
At the beginning of September we held our latest Treats Day. We had some fantastic speakers - Gregor from florist Nicci-G's gave us an interesting and fun demonstration, this was followed by Kim who's talk on bra fitting was much appreciated. M&S Chineham provided some food for a lovely light lunch. Next came Bhupinder from Ghatahora Photograpy with a facinating talk presentation of how her career developed and the day ended with Sara from Sanctuary Beauty doing an informative talk and demonstration on make-up. Thank you to all those who contributed to a great day for our guests. Our next Treats Day will be in the new year.

Our new premises has opened up many opportunities and as the charity grows we need to plan and manage this growth responsibly. Sian Perham acted as facilitator for the meeting to ensure we had a productive time.
