Despite the torrential weather, we enjoyed the fantastic support of so many organisations and individuals once again on 5th September at our Annual Charity Golf Day.
With 18 teams made up of supporters and local businesses, we were so pleased that everyone turned up despite the awful outlook and spirits were high, despite us having to abandon the golf before everyone got to play the entire course.
Through entry fees, raffle tickets and competitions, and taking away the golfing costs, we managed to raise a fantastic £6,635.
We’d like to thank everyone who took part, and all those companies that donated to the raffle. Your generosity enables us to continue supporting people with Cancer in Basingstoke and North Hampshire, with out well-being services.
And rest assured, we have already put in an order for lovely weather for next year to make up for it.
