This is Anna Redgrave. Her mum, Jane, is the receptionist at The Orchard in Basingstoke, where we are based, and is a huge ambassador for The Pink Place.
Anna is currently in her second year of study for her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Cardiff University. Her dissertation revolves around exercise and increased occupational engagement among cancer patients.
Recently, some of the ladies from The Pink Place volunteered so that Anna could conduct short interviews with them about the valuable support offered by organisations such as The Pink Place.
Having met some of them, Anna was so inspired to raise funds for The Pink Place that on 14th April, she will be running The Manchester Marathon on behalf of the charity.
This year I am running the Manchester Marathon on the 14th of April to raise money for the Pink Place Cancer Charity. I am working with this charity for my dissertation and have been able to see firsthand the amazing work that they do and I really wanted to make a difference.
