We would like to say a huge thanks to Melissa Bryers, who recently organised a fabulous fundraising event, hosted at Basingstoke Rugby Club and attended by 80 of her family, friends and colleagues from Centerprise International Ltd, all dressed in pink.
The evening included plenty of fun and laughter plus a delicious BBQ with the help of Global Kitchen, hilarious bingo games and a massive raffle, all of which were generously donated by Basingstoke companies through Centerprise International Ltd, including the star prize of a 42” TV.
Melissa managed to raise an astonishing £2,522.10!
She said:
“Since being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in October 2023, I have been very lucky and looked after by the NHS for appointments and treatments but you need other support too. To hear you are incurable is very difficult but with the help of The Pink Place you receive emotional and wellbeing support to live with it. I am 100% treatable and using that to get through those tough days”
