We recently held a small party to say thank you to our wonderful volunteers. Held at the ever-supportive Howard Park Bowls Club, 30 of our fantastic volunteers enjoyed the chance to meet each other over some food and fun and games, organised by our wonderful team of Kay, Nicola and Christine.
We are lucky to have over 50 volunteers who regularly help the charity in so many different ways. They are the very heartbeat of this charity, and without them, we would not be able to support the people we do at a time when they need it most.
In 2024, we have seen 109 new people use The Pink Place services, which just goes to show that the need for the charity is unfortunately greater than ever.
- 37 different people attended wellbeing sessions in Alton.
- 95 different people attended wellbeing sessions in Basingstoke.
- 3,000 cups of tea and coffee were served with 1,875 slices of cake!
- Our complementary therapy team delivered 368 sessions.
- Angela provided 50 hours of one to one counselling.
- Nina delivered 33 yoga sessions for 30 different people.
- Lynda delivered 49 mindfulness sessions for 24 different people.

We have people volunteering in other areas of the charity, too, whether it’s cake baking, fundraising, or support in the office. And not to forget our dedicated trustees.
Without each and every one of you, there is no Pink Place.
So a huge, huge thank you!
