As a small, local charity, we are always so very grateful to get support from strong local companies and 2025 has started very well with this in mind, with the news that Phillips Law in Basingstoke have selected The Pink Place as their Charity Of The Year.
Phillips Law is a well-established law firm based at the Top Of Town, Basingstoke, on London Street. The team offer a wide range of legal support for families, individuals and business
The law firm, which also currently sponsors the Basingstoke Half Marathon, is looking forward to sharing ideas on fundraising throughout the year, and we are so very grateful for their enthusiastic support, following on from their fundraising volunteering in November collecting money at a local supermarket.
Theresa Coutts, who nominated The Pink Place, shared:
"We are absolutely delighted to collaborate with The Pink Place in Basingstoke this year. This incredible organisation is a very worthy charity that has supported many local families (including my own) in the past. We are very much looking forward to supporting them this year and raising as much as we can so that they can continue to support local families living with cancer."
Theresa
The Pink Place gets no government funding, and grants are harder than ever to come by, so support from the local community, individuals and businesses is so very vital to help us continue doing what we do – with well-being and emotional support for people who have been given a Cancer diagnosis.
"The Pink Place is thrilled to have been chosen as Phillips Law’s Charity of the Year for 2025! We are incredibly excited about this new partnership and can’t wait to collaborate on some fantastic fundraising initiatives. Together, we aim to make a meaningful impact to ensure we can continue to provide our vital wellbeing services and support for people in our community living with cancer. Here’s to an inspiring year ahead!"
Christine Griffiths, The Pink Place
If you are involved in a local business and are looking for a charity that helps hundreds of local people each year, we’d love it if you would consider supporting The Pink Place. We have information for charity partnerships and also run various fundraising events during the year.
