The Pink Place Welcomes Two New Trustees

22 May 2025

The Pink Place is pleased to welcome two new trustees to the board to extend our collective expertise and help drive the charity forward. These appointments are part of a sustained push during 2025 to develop a wider and balanced base of expertise at board level and help guide the charity as it faces the challenges of balancing demand and finances while retaining and developing our well-being services for local women with a cancer diagnosis.

Kevin Croombs, a qualified accountant for a local construction group for the past 17 years, was born and bred in and around Basingstoke and is also currently a Governor at BCOT.

Kevin Croombs - Pink Place Trustee

I have been aware of, and supported, the Pink Place for many years and chosen to become a trustee because I believe strongly in the vital support it provides to individuals affected by cancer.
I am eager to contribute my skills and passion to an organisation that offers such valued services and am committed to helping The Pink Place continue its invaluable work, helping to ensure its future sustainability, and expanding its reach to benefit even more local people who need the support we offer.

Gary Livingstone - Pink Place Trustee

I am 100% committed to supporting and uplifting those around me, which now extends to my role as a trustee for The Pink Place. I will bring compassion, clarity, and a deep sense of local responsibility. When you believe in people and give them the right support, incredible things happen—whether that’s in a business, a home, or a community facing life’s toughest challenges.
