We were as pleased as punch this month as we enjoyed a celebratory lunch with Basingstoke Law Firm – Phillips Law – for an official end to their year-long support of The Pink Place.
Throughout 2025, the firm has organised events – from quizzes to car boot sales and paint parties – and many of the team took on individual challenges such as marathons, skydives, and Ultra Events to help raise a considerable amount.
A fun-filled team lunch was capped with the handing over of a cheque for £15,065.73 as a result of all of their hard work.
It was great to chat, share stories, and hear the experiences of team members. We heard how supporting The Pink Place had brought the firm together. At the same time, one person spoke about pushing through fear and physical challenges, knowing it would help women and families locally.

“Working alongside The Pink Place as our Charity of the Year 2025 meant a great deal to us. The support they provide to women and families in our community is invaluable, and we are pleased to have played a small part in that work.”
While Christine Griffiths, Fundraising and Events Manager at The Pink Place, added:
“Wow. What an unforgettable year. As Phillips Law’s 2025 Charity Partner, we are truly overwhelmed by the commitment, passion and generosity shown by their fundraising committee and the entire Phillips Law team. Their tireless efforts and wholehearted support across such a wide range of fundraising initiatives have resulted in an extraordinary total raised of £15,056.93.
“Thank you seem very small words, but this incredible sum will have a lasting impact on the lives of the 269 inspirational women affected by cancer whom The Pink Place is proud to support.”
