Hampshire-based building and electrical contractor, Carman Contracting, has chosen The Pink Place as its first-ever Charity Of The Year.
Based in Ringwood, the fast-growing company works across southern England, delivering high-quality construction, fit-out, fire protection, and renewable energy projects across the public, commercial, industrial, and private sectors.
We are incredibly grateful for their support, largely driven by their new Financial Director, Kevin Croombs, who is also our outgoing trustee responsible for finance.
Through Kevin, the company learned about the vital (“often unseen”) work we do for women living with cancer across North Hampshire, and the team could not wait to get on board to support us over the coming year as they push forward with their Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
Small charities are facing increasing demand for their services, while managing rising operating costs, and The Pink Place is no different. By selecting the charity as our first Charity of the Year, Carman Contracting aims to raise vital funds and awareness to help ensure its important work can continue.
We’re delighted to be partnering with The Pink Place as our first Charity of the Year. The work the charity carries out is genuinely life-changing, providing comfort, friendship, and practical support to women at one of the most difficult times in their lives.”
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to the entire team at Carman Contractors – your support will help us deliver on our promise of a place where, regardless of diagnosis or prognosis, no one faces cancer alone.
