Ongoing Activities

We offer regular sessions to our guests. Some of the groups may need to be booked in advance.

We try to accommodate as many people as we can at the various sessions that we run.

Complementary therapy sessions run separately at The Orchard and need to be booked in advance. Counselling sessions are in person during the Wednesday & Thursday Wellbeing session or by appointment on the phone.

As a small charity that relies on our generous volunteers, we try to be as accommodating as we can to ensure you receive the support you need.

Friday

10am-12pm Alton Wellbeing Session (1st & 3rd Friday of each month for men and women)

If you have just been diagnosed with Cancer, or are looking for emotional support during your treatment, why not come along to meet us, get information, and find out how we can help. Appointments are available throughout the week and we also have a weekly Newcomers Drop-In session.

Wellbeing Session

Weekly session includes chat, support, complementary therapies, speakers, activities and refreshments.

PPxtra Wellbeing Session

For ladies with secondary, stage 4 & incurable cancers

Weekly sessions include chat, support, complementary therapies, speakers, activities and refreshments. For ladies with Stage 4/secondary/incurable cancers

One-To-One Counselling

Available in-person at our Wednesday & Thursday Wellbeing Sessions in Basingstoke, or via telephone.

Mindfulness on Zoom

For ladies affected by cancer

Mindfulness has helped many people to improve their mental wellbeing and quality of life. These small group sessions on Zoom are tailored for people going through cancer. Suitable for all levels.

A Yoga Sansaar session following the fundamental unity of mind, body and soul. These small group sessions are tailored for people going through cancer. Suitable for all levels. Seated or floor options available.

Advice on hair care before, during and after treatment.

Craft Club

For ladies affected by cancer

Variety of crafts. No experience necessary. Materials, tuition and refreshments provided.


Social Events

Special events throughout the year eg Coach Trips, Canal Boat ride. Various locations and times.
