Charity Manager Required

We are currently looking for someone to join the team to proactively manage the charity, working with the current staff and trustees to ensure that our services continue to reach the people who need them, and that the charity can sustain itself efficiently.

This is an operational role, although charity experience would be an advantage, as you will need to understand the nuances of how charities operate and the relevant compliance requirements.

The Role

We already have a strong backbone within the organisation at both staff and trustee levels, and you will have plenty of support from people who know how the charity needs to operate. Your role will be to ensure we are doing this in the best way possible.

Hours & Remuneration

Due to the nature of this role and the size of the charity, this is a 25-hour working week (five hours a day), based at The Orchard in Basingstoke. Additional time may be required outside of hours to attend trustees’ meetings, fundraising, etc. This requirement may change over time with the potential for longer hours.

The salary on offer is £20,000–£25,000 for a 25-hour week (pro rata £30k–£38k FTE).
